A series of core courses that engineering majors are required to take to build disciplinary knowledge of engineering principles and mathematics. The minor is intended for non-engineering majors who wish to pursue professional or graduate education in areas such as biomedical engineering or medicine. The core knowledge of mathematics and mechanics included in the major can enhance an undergraduate degree in other STEM disciplines, such as biomedical science, biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. This program is not available to CECS students
