This set of six classes will advance student鈥檚 knowledge of economic theory and enhance their critical thinking skills so they will be able to make better business decisions. The quantitative focus of the minor will teach students how to transform raw data so it can be used to further the strategic goals of the business. Students will learn how to make evidence-based decisions rather than relying on intuition. Mastering tools such as Excel, Python, and R will give students a competitive edge and make them more valuable to employers who seek to improve operations and identify new opportunities. These skills are crucial for students who seek employment as business analysts across various sectors such as marketing, finance, and supply chain management.
