The minor in economics gives students an opportunity to further develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills. Students can choose from a wide variety of courses to advance their knowledge of economic theory and quantitative methods. Students will come away with an enhanced ability to understand human behavior, data analysis, market trends, and policy decisions. The economics minor complements almost any major, adding valuable, rigorous analytical skills that make the student a more competitive job candidate in fields such as general business, marketing, finance, law, or public policy.
