Harness your capacity to influence mathematics education at a greater scale with UCF’s PhD in Education, Mathematics Education track — a program designed to develop and empower future mathematics education scholars. This track offers a dynamic environment where you will collaborate with nationally recognized faculty who are committed to meaningful mathematics learning for every student from PK–16.

In this program, you will conduct high-impact research, lead innovative undergraduate instruction and establish interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external partners. You will also engage directly with the nationally acclaimed , expanding your reach and influence in authentic educational settings.

Our faculty actively mentor and guide doctoral students while offering opportunities to present, publish, network and contribute to the field at state and national levels. Their deep involvement in research, including technology and AI integration across PK–16 environments, fosters an innovative space where you can experiment, discover and create without limits.

As a doctoral student, you will collaborate on and lead studies in PreK–12 schools, on campus and alongside higher鈥�education partners. Not only do our program’s graduates advance into faculty positions across the U.S. and internationally, but they also serve as influential leaders in schools and districts.
