2026 Florida Legislative Session\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Florida’s 2026 Regular 60-day Session ended without an agreement on a new state budget for FY 2026-27, which begins July 1.<\/p>\n

The Legislature adjourned\u00a0sine die<\/em>\u00a0on Friday, March 13, requiring lawmakers to reconvene in special session to write and approve a budget and address any additional issues included in a special session proclamation. The Legislature is currently in an 18-day special session running May 12\u201329 to pass the FY 2026-27 General Appropriations Act, along with its implementing bill, conforming bills, and tax package.<\/p>\n
