Official nominations for the Order of Pegasus come from the university&#8217;s president, provost, vice presidents and college deans, recognizing students who demonstrate exemplary academic achievement, university involvement, leadership and community service.<\/p>\n<p>To nominate students for the Order of Pegasus, please complete the form included in the call for nominations email and send to <a href=\"mailto:orderofpegasus@ucf.edu\">orderofpegasus@ucf.edu<\/a> by <strong>Friday, October 3, 2025<\/strong>.<br \/>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"row d-flex\"\n\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\t\n<h4>Timeline<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/leadership\/president\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/09\/OOP-Timeline_2026-scaled.png\" alt=\"Sept 12, 2025: Call for Nominations; Oct 3, 2025: Nominations Due; October-November 2025: Nominee Info Sessions; Dec 3, 2025: Student Application Packets Due; Jan 2026: Notification of Selection of Interview; Mar 2026: Selection Announcement; April 1, 2026: Induction Ceremony\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-10434 img-fluid\" \/><\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"row d-flex\"\n\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"flex-first col-lg-6\"\n\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\t\n<h4>Considerations for Nominators<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Undergraduate Award<\/strong> \u2014 students in an undergraduate program with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and 90 or more semester credit hours by the end of the summer 2025 term are eligible. The award is for academic achievement, outstanding university involvement, leadership, and community service.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Graduate Award<\/strong> \u2014 students in a master\u2019s, doctoral, or M.D. program with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and completed at least three semesters of graduate study at UCF are eligible. The award is for academic achievement, professional or community service, leadership, and publication or research experiences.<\/li>\n<li>Nominees for the Order of Pegasus should be individuals who have made a difference in one or more of the university\u2019s five core values illustrated in the UCF Creed: Integrity, Scholarship, Community, Creativity and Excellence.<\/li>\n<li>Vice presidents who are not student facing are also encouraged to submit nominations. Please collaborate with staff members in your division and other nominators to help identify students to nominate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"flex-second col-lg-6\"\n\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\t\n<h4>Application Requirements<\/h4>\n<p>After you submit your nomination, you may contact the student and provide the information below to help them complete their application packet. They will also receive an official notice of their nomination. Completed application packets must include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed application form for the student&#8217;s degree level (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/leadership\/president\/order\/nominees\/\">available here<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Two letters of recommendation<\/li>\n<li>Current resume<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Student application packets are due on or before <strong>Wednesday, December 3, 2025<\/strong>. All materials should be submitted to UCF Info Ready, accessed through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/leadership\/president\/order\/nominees\/\">degree level applications<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>Interviews for Student Nominees<\/h4>\n<p>The Order of Pegasus Committee is made up of faculty, staff and university leaders. The committee reviews applications and selects the Order of Pegasus awardees. Students will be notified if they receive an interview early in the spring semester. Award recipients are announced in spring and will be formally acknowledged by the university. Receipt of application does not guarantee an
