Hitt will present his annual State of the 海角直播 Address at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, in the Pegasus Ballroom of the Student Union.

The university community is invited to hear him discuss UCF鈥檚 opportunities and challenges, along with his vision for the university’s future.

The president鈥檚 address will be followed by remarks from Dr. Reid Oetjen, chair of the Faculty Senate, and Weston Bayes, president of the Student Government Association.

Doors for the event will open at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow the address.

The president will focus on the significance of UCF鈥檚 first 50 years, plus look ahead to the future of the university.

Reid Oetjen, president of the Faculty Senate, and Melissa Marie Westbrook, president of the Student Government Association, also are scheduled to speak.

The program is scheduled 3-4:30 p.m. and will include refreshments.
