A UCF computer programming competition team, UCF OrElse, will join more than 50 others from colleges around the U.S. and Canada in the nation/news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146784/u2019s most prestigious computer programming contest. UCF/news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146784/u2019s College of Engineering and Computer Science will host the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) North America Championship. Known as the /news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146784/u201cBattle of Brains,/news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146784/u201d this annual competition challenges participants to solve complex algorithmic and logic problems by writing precise computer programs, all within a five-hour contest./news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146784/n

With talented students highly recruited by leading employers, UCF has a strong track record of success in the event, advancing to the world finals in 12 of the past 13 years./news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146784/n

UCF will host the competition, which will be in the Pegasus Ballroom in the Student Union, for the fourth consecutive year. Teams from top institutions including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard 海角直播 and Stanford 海角直播, will showcase their technical prowess and compete for a spot among the top 16 teams who will advance to the ICPC World Finals Aug. 31- Sept. 5 in Baku, Azerbaijan./news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146784/n
