UCF students are headed to the most elite programming competition, the World Finals of the International Collegiate Programming Contest, for the 13th time in 14 years. They placed in the top 10 in the North America Championship (NAC), which UCF hosted Memorial Day weekend./news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146942/n

Mechanical engineering master/news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146942/u2019s student Tyler Marks /news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146942/u201924, mathematical sciences master/news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146942/u2019s student Andy Phan /news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146942/u201921 /news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146942/u201922MS and computer science undergraduate Sachin Sivakumar, who comprised the team UCF OrElse, placed ninth out of 52 teams at the NAC, earning a coveted spot at the World Finals. Their impressive performance continued UCF/news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146942/u2019s strong record of success at the elite event and put them ahead of several programming powerhouses, including those from Harvard 海角直播, the California Institute of Technology and the 海角直播 of Texas at Austin./news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146942/n

Overall, more than 1,000 teams from the U.S. and Canada participated in the contest, meaning the UCF team is among the top 1% in North America./news/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/146942/n
