{"id":24367,"date":"2011-06-09T13:54:15","date_gmt":"2011-06-09T13:54:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/?p=24367"},"modified":"2011-08-17T22:59:02","modified_gmt":"2011-08-17T22:59:02","slug":"college-of-business-administration-names-interim-dean","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/college-of-business-administration-names-interim-dean\/","title":{"rendered":"College of Business Names Interim Dean"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Foard Jones has been named interim dean of the 海角直播\u2019s College of Business Administration effective June 25.<\/p>\n<p>Jones, an associate professor of Management, joined UCF in 1989 and has served in several administrative capacities, including Management Department chair, associate dean for Graduate and External Programs and his current position of associate dean of Administration and Human Resources.<\/p>\n<p>He has won several awards for his teaching, including the Teaching Incentive Program Award, the Carl H. Galloway Faculty Performance Incentive Award and the Faculty Leadership Award. Jones received his Ph.D. in Human Resource Management from the 海角直播 of Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>His vast experience working with staff and faculty members and students has prepared him for his new role.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am pleased to continue my work within the college and am excited to expand my role externally as I meet with our graduates and supporters,\u201d Jones said. \u201cI look forward to this exciting opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jones replaces Thomas Keon, who has served as the college\u2019s dean for the past 14 years. Keon has accepted a position as chancellor of Purdue 海角直播 Calumet.<\/p>\n<p>UCF will conduct a national search to fill the position permanently.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Foard Jones has been named interim dean of the 海角直播\u2019s College of Business Administration effective June 25.
