Before being elected vice president of APSA, Hamann held several other leadership positions within the organization including chair of the Standing Committee on Teaching and Learning.<\/p>\n
As an active member of thenational political science community, Hamann also belongs to the Southern Political Science Association, Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics and Council for European Studies.<\/p>\n
