Her presentation is part of the college\u2019s Distinguished Lecture Series.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are just beginning to become aware of the possibilities in using information to improve quality in healthcare,\u201d McLane said, adding that managing the increasing amount of information will be needed even more in the future.<\/p>\n<p>The free lecture is open to the public and will kick off the fall semester for the Executive Doctor of Nursing Practice students. Nurses have the opportunity to earn one contact hour of continuing education credit.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture \u2013 Beyond Implementation: Informaticians &amp; Meaningful Use \u2013 will be at 6 p.m. in 海角直播 Tower in Central Florida Research Park adjacent to the university campus.
