{"id":45147,"date":"2013-01-28T14:00:35","date_gmt":"2013-01-28T19:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/?p=45147"},"modified":"2021-01-07T16:07:35","modified_gmt":"2021-01-07T21:07:35","slug":"turn-your-business-plan-into-big-bucks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/turn-your-business-plan-into-big-bucks\/","title":{"rendered":"Turn Your Business Plan Into Big Bucks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The inaugural Business Model Competition (BMC) at UCF celebrates students who test their innovative ideas with potential customers and partners, and use what they learn to improve their proposals.<\/p>\n<p>If you have an idea for a business or product, you can compete by presenting your business plan to our judges featuring prominent members of the local business community.<\/p>\n<p>The competition goal is to train young entrepreneurs in the proper aspects of creating a company.<\/p>\n<p>The BMC is for all current UCF students, regardless of major. The four finalists will share a cash prize pool of $5,000, with the BMC Champion winning $3,000 and an invitation to participate in the International Business Model Competition held at Harvard 海角直播 May 3-4, 2013, for the grand prize of $25,000.<\/p>\n<p>Proposals are due on\u00a0Wednesday, Feb. 13.<\/p>\n<p>The final competition in which the winners are announced will be on Friday, Feb. 22 in BA-1 room 238.\u00a0Apply today\u00a0or follow updates on\u00a0https:\/\/cel.ucf.edu\/events-and-competitions\/joust\/.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The inaugural Business Model Competition (BMC) at UCF celebrates students who test their innovative ideas with potential customers and partners, and use what they learn to improve their proposals.
