UCF\u2019s Flying Horse Editions<\/a> will host an open house Nov. 14 for visitors of all ages to have a hands-on experience with letterpress and to print their own holiday cards.<\/p>\n

Letterpress is the process of printing from an inked raised surface when paper is impressed directly on the surface, and is the technique used by Flying Horse Editions research and publishing facility.<\/p>\n

The Winter Solstice Letterpress Happy Hour will be 6-8 p.m. at 500 W. Livingston St., Orlando.<\/p>\n

For a $10 donation, visitors can make five personalized cards with a message up to four inches long.
