The event, which is hosted by the UCF Global Perspectives Office, takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Key West Ballroom of the UCF Student Union. Advance registration is required, but provided at no cost, thanks to event sponsors.<\/p>\n<p>The forum features the perspectives of human-trafficking survivors, such as Chong Kim and Natasha Herzig. Both women put a human face on the scourge of trafficking in America, and currently work to promote awareness about the many facets of this issue that remain hidden from society.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the UCF Global Perspectives Office, co-sponsors of the forum include the UCF Human Trafficking Awareness Program, UCF Victim Services, UCF Global Peace and Security Studies Program, UCF Diplomacy Program, Orlando Area Committee on Foreign Relations, Chastang Charitable Foundation, CliftonLarsonAllen, UCF SGA, UCF Women\u2019s Studies Program, UCF Political Science Department, UCF LIFE and the Global Connections Foundation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"UCF students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the Human Trafficking Awareness Forum on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
